Lying Leg Raise Hold

Exercise Instructions

*You can add weight to this exercise by holding a medicine ball or dumbbell between your feet.

  • Lie flat on the floor.
  • Place your hands under the upper portion of your butt, near your lower back.
  • Lift your legs off the ground about 6 inches. Keep your legs straight and keep your abs tight.
  • Hold this position for as long as you can, or go for time.
  • Once you can easily do this with good form for a minute, add weight by holding a medicine ball or dumbbell between your feet.
